A last chance to tour around our research facilities and meet our talented young researchers ‘in-situ’ ahead of summer 2015 relocation with CEB Department moving its headquarters to a new home out in West Cambridge. Highly recommended to CEB alumni wanting to reminisce about their past experiences on site and alumni from other disciplines with an interest in our research breakthroughs in our areas of expertise: Healthcare, Processes, Materials, Metrology, Modelling and Innovation.CEB is one of the UK’s leading research departments, ranking highly in both national and international University league tables. Our research strategy responds to the global drive for ‘sustainability’, addressing the need for novel chemical engineering and biotechnology processes and materials. Whilst committed to working at the interfaces of the underpinning science disciplines of engineering, chemistry, biology and physics, cross-collaborations between research groups working on sustainable processes and the healthcare and materials development agendas are strongly encouraged. Researchers will give mini-presentations on these interdisciplinary research activities which are providing novel solutions to the serious technical and economic challenges affecting modern living.
