CEB Career Panel 2016

Experts from relevant industry sectors will take part in a career panel exercise to share their expertise and professional experiences with our students and advise them on career-related matters of interest. Students will have a chance to meet industry reps and find out more about the varied career options available to them, which can help them make better informed decisions when faced with pressing questions regarding a specific career path to take. Attendees Industry reps will be at hand to provide great insights into what’s really like to work in different industry sectors and share the ups and downs in their careers. Among those companies which have previously taken part in the Career Panel are Johnson Matthey, BP, GSK, Jacobs, Exxonmobil, Arthur D Little, Natixis SA and Schlumberger. Gradcracker and the Careers Office have previously been present too.

Career Panel event for undergraduates

Get thorough insights into your future career options!

The annual Careers Panel event returns to CEB, this time in our new building. 

The panel will consist of a selected group of industry representatives from disciplines chosen based on student feedback, with CUCES Careers Rep Ray Fan as Panel Moderator.

Industry reps will also give students tips on job applications and information about graduate schemes and summer internship opportunities available in their companies.

There session will kick off with a brief intro from all panel members, followed by an open Q&A session. Undergrads can then ask more specific questions about career choices available to them in relevant Chemical Engineering and Biotech fields. Students will have networking opportunities over lunch with industry reps so a great chance to make valuable connections in industry.
