At the UK Colloids 2014 conference last week, Felicity Bartholomew won the prize for joint best student poster.
Felicity's poster, covering her PhD work, was titled "Dynamics and structure: A study of gelation in a non-aqueous colloidal system". Felicity is a 3rd year PhD student in the Colloid group, supervised by Dr Alex Routh.
The prize was a book "Magnetic Nanoparticles: From Fabrication to Clinical Applications" and £75.
The UK Colloids 2014 conference was an international colloid and interface science symposium and was held in London from July 6th – 9th 2014.
