Chocolate talk: the best bit was lots of tasting

last modified Jun 12, 2015 04:33 PM

Dr Ian Wilson gave a talk earlier this month (April, 2015) at the Cambridge Science Centre. It was all about the science of chocolate and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children attending. They thought that the best bit was lots of tasting!

The Cambridge Science Centre is a venue for exhibitions, shows, workshops and talks: a place in which to discover, to create and to learn. It acts as a gateway into some of the amazing scientific research in this great city and from around the world.

They are a registered educational charity providing a permanent interactive public science centre for Cambridge, UK.

Dr Ian Wilson's research interests lie in the study of soft solids and surfaces with particular applications in the food, pharma and chemicals industries. He is one of the leaders of the Paste, Particle and Polymer Processing group (P4G).

The talk was sponsored by Hotel Chocolat.
