Dr Ian Wilson - Cambridge/Canterbury Fellow at Canterbury, New Zealand

The Cambridge/Canterbury Fellowship scheme exists to develop links between the Universities of Cambridge, UK, and Canterbury, New Zealand. Canterbury is the alma mater of Ernest Rutherford and home to one of Australasia's leading engineering schools. Its Department of Chemical and Process Engineering has sent several stars to CEB, including Daniel Holland who returned to a position at Canterbury earlier this year. Dr Ian Wilson is spending the autumn as a Cambridge/Canterbury Fellow at Canterbury in the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering.

In addition to developing teaching materials, he will be establishing research links and giving seminars at Canterbury, Auckland, Massey, Lincoln and Wellington. Much of Ian's research is related to food processing, which is the largest manufacturing sector in NZ. Ian would be happy to meet up with CEB alumni while on tour.
