The best science lesson EVER!

Thunder in a can

Research Grants Administrator and Enterprise Champion David Carter and BOC Science Ambassador Rob Byrne have been presenting a joint "Gases" presentation at a school in Essex.

Year five and six pupils at Bentfield Primary School, Stansted enjoyed an entertaining and informative presentation and series of demonstrations illustrating the properties of solids, liquids and gases. Particular favourites were David's hot air balloon and Robs "Thunder in a Can".

Commenting on the day Headmaster Patrick Draper and Head of Year Zoë Everton said, "This should really help the subject stick in the children's minds" and "The children were really excited to see science brought to life in such a striking way". Comments from the children included "This was the best science lesson EVER!"
