Yousef Jameel Scholarship for Wei Jin Gun

Wei Jin Gun

Wei Jin Gun has been selected from the Cambridge International Scholarship Scheme nomination list to receive a Yousef Jameel Scholarship, tenable in theDepartment of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge.

Wei Jin Gun is currently in his final year of studies for the MEng in Chemical Engineering here and this highly prestigious award will enable him to continue his studies and work towards a PhD. He is expected to be supervised by Dr Routh, on a project Encapsulation of inhibitors for down well applications.

Wei Jin said, "Many thanks to Dr Alex Routh and Miss Linda Craft for helping me apply this scholarship. I am really looking forward to starting my PhD course in the BP institute this coming October 2009.
