Charity events, November/December 2009

On 20 November 2009, Immanuel (Manny) Kemp spent the day attending lectures and practicals dressed as Batman and collecting for Children in Need.

He is a Chemical Engineering undergraduate, in Part IIB of his MEng.

We congratulate Manny on collecting £180.63 for good causes.

Santa As the Children in Need Batman thing was such a success with over £110 raised in the department, Manny decided to undertake the ritual humiliation again and came in on 1 December with a bucket for the homelessness charity Shelter and a Father Christmas costume.

Manny said, "Shelter is the nominated charity for Cambridge RAG's Christmas tour this year, which I am attending, and I hope to get it going with a bit of a chemengy bang."
