There is a growing demand from our alumni for a network to act as a platform for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology alumni to keep in touch with fellow alumni, current students, Department academics and industrialists.

Another reason behind the creation of this network is to offer our alumni the opportunity to come back to visit their old Department more regularly, give something of value if they so wish and have a say on the current activities organised for them.  Our alumni are part of our success and, even after leaving the Department, we would like them to keep in touch, invite them to take part in Department events e.g. alumni reunions and take advantage of the personal and professional development opportunities offered by other network members.

Wherever you are in the world and whether you are retired or work in industry or academia, we would love to hear from you and welcome you back to the Department. Our alumni network is still at the initial stages so we would like to hear your suggestions on the activities you would like to see on our Alumni Relations Programmme. We would also like to encourage those who wish to get involved in our activities to come forward and tell us about the type of support they might want to offer the Department, our current students and alumni community.
