Alumni Speaker Series
This series of talks is an initiative suggested by our alumni for the benefit of Department alumni and current students, a venture run by alumni wanting to contribute a relevant talk to the Department. At the same time we would like to give alumni more opportunitites to visit the Department more regularly, reconnect with old friends and give current students and fellow alumni something of value. The talks will be followed by a networking session over drinks and nibbles so that our alumni get a chance to share experiences with our students and these learn some useful career tips from them.
The alumni speaker series was launched on Tuesday 27 October 2009 at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology with a talk on 'Innovation, Governance and Capability' by alumnus Peter Davidson, Innovation Adviser in Government (BIS). His talk was complimented by many and has set up a wonderful model to follow for future talks.
Visit past talks to see the alumni who have previously contributed. We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the talks given and suggestions for topics for future talks. Whether you would like to share your views on this initiative, contribute a talk or register to attend please contact us on alumni@ceb.cam.ac.uk. We will be delighted to hear from you.
