Novel peptide actives

Using both in vitro and in vivo strategies, we are generating novel peptides and short proteins which we will screen for bioactivity in a range of assays.

Traditional Chinese medicines

Following participation of Dr Tunnacliffe in the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office Mission to China on traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) in September 2007, we are initiating collaborations with Chinese colleagues to search for bioactivity in a range of Chinese herbs. Several biological models will be used for screening purposes.
