THz-TDS transmission spectrometer

  • Variable temperature capabilities (4 to 700 K)
  • Variable humidity sample cell (0 to 100% rh)

  • Samples can be measured under vacuum or in a nitrogen atmosphere

Imaging

  • Reflection imaging system using pulsed terahertz radiation (approx. 0.1 to 3 THz bandwidth)
  • Six axis robotic arm can be used to perform full 3D scan of pharmaceutical tablets
  • Lateral resolution of 200 μm (diffraction limited)
  • Axial (depth) resolution of better than 1 μm for structures with a thickness of more than 30 micron
  • Samples can be measured in atmosphere, no nitrogen purging or vacuum required due to the short focal length of the optics
  • Multisample tray can be used for unattended measurement of up to 36 samples
