Instrument and Analysis Services

The following analytical techniques and services are available to researchers in the Department.

Where any testing is performed by a chemical engineering technician or technical officer, the results should be reported within one week.

Any charges will be billed on a monthly basis.

Users from outside the Department must provide billing details on booking the device or service. Charges for external users include a surcharge for Department overheads (which varies between items).

Failure to follow the procedures, including recording sessions in log books, or damage to the equipment other than by normal wear and tear could result in a researcher or research group being denied access to the equipment for a period of time lasting up to one year.

Damage to equipment other than by normal wear and tear will be charged to the researcher's supervisor(s).

All work must be routed through the contact person. Click on the instrument to download the form for service request.
