Travel advice
For visitors of reduced mobility, please see Department accessibility
The New Museums Site is a five minute walk from the bus station and a 20-30 minute walk from the railway station.
Driving in Cambridge is not recommended - narrow picturesque streets were not designed for motorised transport - but there are park and ride schemes on the outskirts of the city.
Some roads in Cambridge, including Silver Street, are closed to traffic by rising bollards
The nearest car park to the Department is the Grand Arcade Multi-Storey Car Park, previously known as the Lion Yard car park.
