Short research or consultancy programme

We can undertake an agreed paper study or programme of research, spanning typically a few days or weeks. For example, this might involve evaluating materials using a particular technique or instrument, or to confirm the potential benefits of a more extensive research programme.

Pt II Chemical Engineering research project

You could help to devise and sponsor a Pt II Chemical Engineering research project, which is undertaken by fourth-year Chemical Engineering students, under the supervision of a member of our staff.

Master's in Bioscience Enterprise and M Phil in Advanced Chemical Engineering

We welcome the involvement of companies in our Master's education programmes - you can set research projects, teach key modules or lectures or provide work placements for our students. Please see our MBE and ACE MPhil pages to find out more.

Teaching Consortium

A number of key chemical engineering companies support the undergraduate chemical engineering students by making a financial commitment to support design, project and laboratory teaching, and the development of new teaching methods. 

PhD Research programme

A PhD research project is conducted by a student with a good honours degree, working full-time for three years, again under the supervision of a member of staff who will be an expert in the field.

Post-doctoral research project

You can support a research programme which places an expert post-doctoral research worker on the project for an appropriate period.
