MBE Programme Bursaries

Christopher R. Lowe Tuition Bursary

Tuition bursaries are available to MBE students through the generosity of the Christopher R. Lowe tuition bursaries and occasionally also through the Marit and Hans Rausing Fund.  Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the donors and are offered a place to study on the course will be automatically considered for these awards as part of their application process.  The Christopher R. Lowe tuition bursaries are usually made to students who have recently lived or studied and intend to pursue their future careers in the UK.

Please note that the programme bursaries, whilst at times substantial, are not intended to cover all the costs associated with living and studying at Cambridge and therefore applicants must ensure they have access to sufficient funds to cover the balance of their tuition and College fees and maintenance needs.

The allocation of the MBE-specific bursaries is the responsibility of the programme admissions committee.    The recipients of the awards are informed in June or July of each year.  Please do not contact the Trustees or the administrators of Trusts directly. If you require further information please contact the by e-mail in the first instance. The University scholarships are allocated through a different process and candidates selected for interview or allocated bursaries will be notified by the Trustees.
