CEB is hosting Open Days events and opening its doors on 6 and 7 July 2023 to prospective undergraduates (Year 12/13 sixth form students).
Our in-person Open Days on Thursday 6 and 7 July will host presentations and with Q&A sessions with our academics as well as department tours to give you a taste of the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology undergraduate course at Cambridge and an overview of our fantastic research.
Our academics will run sessions to cover course specific information, how to apply to Cambridge, and the exciting career avenues our degree can open up after graduation. These will be interactive Q&A sessions with our academics where you will get answers to your pressing questions. You will also have a chance to talk to our current students about life and studying at Cambridge.
During the department tours, you will get to our see our amazing, state-of-the art facilities including a visit to our Teaching Lab and Makerspace with some machinery demos on show. Our researchers will also tell you more about the applications and impact of their groundbreaking work in the key areas of sustainability, energy and environment, and healthcare.
In addition, why not visit our grandiose Atrium where you could pop by our info stall and talk to current students and academics, have a cuppa and a bite to eat in our Tearoom, or pop in our comfy CEB Lounge and watch some videos of our exciting research in your own time. Note: Parents are welcome.
