Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology


On Tuesday 18th February, 2003, thirty five undergraduates from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Cambridge University set out at 5am - their destination Sheffield and the annual Frank Morton sports day.

This is the day where chemical engineering departments from around the country meet up for a day of sport and socialising. Despite having the smallest team we managed to do really well. A special mention must go to Adil Kadar who came second in the squash, losing narrowly to the female U19 England champion. The picture shows him during the final.

And congratulations to our pub quiz team, captained by Dan Cooney (shown in the picture below, with Richard Ellis and Catherine Noyelle), who led us to victory and brought home a trophy.
