Best poster at AstraZeneca event

Ya Ying Chen

Ya Ying Chen has been awarded the best poster presentation by AstraZeneca at their PhD Review Day.

The event was held on 22nd October, 2008, at AstraZeneca, R&D Charnwood, Loughborough. It was an internal meeting for all the PhD students who are sponsored by AstraZeneca. The invited students have to either present a poster or give a talk on that day, and two prizes are awarded, one for the best poster and one for the best presentation. Ya Ying won the prize for the best poster presentation. Between 50 and 60 people attended the meeting on that day, and Dr. Mick Mantle also attended.

Ya Ying Chen is a member of the Magnetic Resonance and Catalysis Group, working on MRI as a tool to design controlled release pharmaceutical delivery system.
