Best presentation prize for Pierre Bräuer

The annual Johnson Matthey academic conference (JMAC) took place in Loughborough on the 11th and 12th April 2017. PhD students from around the world sponsored by Johnson Matthey participated to the conference. 1st and 2nd year PhD students presented posters and final year PhD students gave talks in front of the conference delegates consisting of Johnson Matthey employees, academics and PhD students.

The prize for the "Best Final Year Oral Presentation" was awarded to Pierre Bräuer from the Catalysis Group/Magnetic Resonance Research Centre (MRRC), who is a 3rd year PhD student in our Department supervised by Dr Carmine D'Agostino. Pierre's project is about developing new methodologies for catalyst characterisation that can be easily implemented into manufacturing facilities, such as those making solid catalysts.
