Bronze Green Impact Award 2013-2014

David Cann, Sarada Crowe and Peter Foreman with the award

The department has gained a Bronze Green Impact Award for the second year running and this was presented to us at a ceremony on 18 June 2014.

Green Impact is the University's environmental accreditation scheme. It supports and encourages teams in reducing their environmental impacts. Supported by the Environment and Energy Section, teams sign up to an online workbook and progress through simple, clear and easy criteria towards recognised awards and targets.

The scheme is great for those people who want to make a difference but are not sure how, and also supports those who are already beavering away for environmental and wellbeing causes in their corners of the University.

The team members who worked on this department's submission were David Cann, Sarada Crowe and Peter Foreman, who are shown in the photograph, and undergraduates Xinyi Hu, Omba Kumwenda and Peter Oldfield.
