Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Scheme

Professor Paul Watkinson

Professor Paul Watkinson from the University of British Columbia, Canada, recently spent a month visiting Dr Ian Wilson as part of the Royal Academy of Engineering's Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Scheme and this has just been featured as acase study on the Scheme's web page.

The visit enabled networking and research collaborations in crude oil fouling between the Universities of Bath, Cambridge and Imperial College in the UK and the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Professor Watkinson said, "The EPSRC grant on crude oil fouling through its collaboration among researchers in three UK universities and an industrial working party, is the first broad-based attack on this important problem. The Fellowship award provided an excellent opportunity to interact with the research teams and their collaborators".
