last modified Oct 11, 2016 03:22 PM

Congratulations to Dr Carmine D'Agostino who has been elected Senior Fellow at Wolfson College.

Carmine received his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Chemical Engineering at the Universita’ di Napoli "Federico II", Italy. He then worked in industry, in the Oil and Gas sector before undertaking a PhD in this department, under the supervision of Professor Lynn Gladden.

He was appointed as a Lecturer in 2013. His research interests lie in catalysis and reaction engineering, with a particular focus on the investigation of molecular diffusion, dynamics and adsorption of liquids within porous catalysts.

He was a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson for three years and now the College has decided to elect him to a Senior Fellowship, based on his service to the College, including his work as Director of Studies for the College. In particular, they gave him an "Extraordinary Fellowship", which is given to those who have given a significant contribution to the College.
