First lecture in the new building

last modified Oct 05, 2016 01:45 PM

Over the summer, we started to move into our new building and today (5 October 2016) we had the first undergraduate sessions in the shiny new lecture theatres!

The new building is part of the University’s science and engineering hub on the West Cambridge site, and perfectly placed to maximise links with a number of other faculties including: Physics at the Cavendish Laboratory, the Computer Science Laboratory, the Institute for Manufacturing and Cambridge Enterprise.

Initially teaching and some staff have moved in. Lectures and classes for undergraduate and masters students will all take place in West Cambridge now. Research will follow over the next few months.

Our new address is
Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology
West Cambridge Site
Philippa Fawcett Drive
Cambridge
CB3 0AS
