London to Cambridge for Red Cross

Krish and ET, after completing the course. A little damp but happy to be home!

Post-doctoral Research Associate, Dr Krishnaa Mahbubani, cycled from London to Cambridge to raise money for the British Red Cross's International Disaster Fund.

She completed the ride on Saturday, 11 May 2013, in the rain, dressed as Elliot and carefully carrying ET in her basket.  The team started from Tottenham Hale Station at 9.00am and after 100km of pedalling, ended at the Mill Pond in the heart of Cambridge.

Krish said that it went well "despite the rain and the hail and chaotic winds. ET was one very grumpy wet alien".

Krish is a member of the Bioscience Engineering Group, working on the formulation of probiotic products.
