Prize for Graziella El Khoury

Graziella El Khoury has won a prize for her oral presentation at the 19th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for Molecular Recognition - Affinity 2011. The prize is the "Journal of Molecular Recognition Year Travel Award" for a Young Scientist and the meeting was held in Tavira, Portugal on 16-19th June 2011.

Her presentation was entitled "Development of a Protein G mimetic for the purification of immunoglobulins based on the Ugi reaction".

Graziella is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Biotechnology working with Professor Chris R. Lowe on the design, synthesis and application of biomimetic ligands for affinity chromatography and the downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals.
