Silvana Cardoso elected to International Advisory Panel of CES

We congratulate Prof Silvana Cardoso on being elected to the International Advisory Panel of Chemical Engineering Science (CES)

Prof Cardoso is head of the Fluids and Environment group where her research focuses on the interaction between fluid dynamics and chemical processes in environmental flows. She is also on the Editorial Board of the Chemical Engineering Journal (CEJ).

Chemical Engineering Science is a leading international research journal in chemical engineering with current impact factor of 2.9 It has been publishing papers on the fundamentals of chemical engineering since 1951 and is the platform where the most significant advances in the discipline are published. 

Chemical Engineering Science classifies research into the following main fields: 

  • Biochemical engineering,
  • Materials synthesis and processing,
  • Particle technology,
  • Process systems engineering,
  • Reaction engineering and catalysis,
  • Separation processes,
  • Thermodynamics and Soft Matter,
  • and Transport Phenomena including Fluid Mechanics.

Prof Lynn Gladden is also a member of International Advisory Panel for Chemical Engineering Science.
