Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology

We run masterclasses on Advanced Electrochemical Techniques frequently during the year.

The Masterclass covers the key principles and governing processes that can control analysis and electrochemical sensing.  The programme is usually structured around 4 keynote lectures that include an introduction to the fundamentals of electrochemistry and the key concepts around analysis (advanced electrochemical analysis, inlcuding ISEs and voltammetric techniques) and advanced fabrication for electrochemical reactor and sensor design.

Practical session after each lecture class allows delegates to gain first-hand experience in operating the latest electrochemical analysis equipment and software.  Working in small groups, the delegates with the help of an experienced demonstrator, will carry out experimental measurements to support and enhance the material covered within the morning lectures.

New dates will be posted as they become available.
