CEB is hosting this highlight event as a tribute to Emeritus Professor John F. Davidson (JFD), in celebration of a career of remarkable achievements in Chemical Engineering, and as a gesture of thanks for his immense contribution over the last 63 years in the Department - not only to the history of the Department and its continuing development, but also to the discipline itself. Furthermore, John’s own research work on fluidisation stands as a fantastic legacy in his field of expertise and great source of reference.  His contribution to industry standards will also be touched upon.

Former faculty members, colleagues, friends and alumni leaders in industry and academia in attendance will take department members on a trip down memory lane sharing their thoughts on John’s career and related anecdotes. John himself will round off the event with his insights and reflections on his own journey. See programme details below:
