Alumna Fiona Erskine to publish 'The Chemical Cocktail' the third book in her thriller novel saga

Alumna Fiona Erskine, a professional chemical engineer turned author, is to publish book number 3 in her Jaq Silver series, 'The Chemical Cocktail,’ which comes out in May 2022 in e-book and June 2023 in paperback.

Professor Róisín Owens awarded ERC Proof of Concept grant to commercialise gut-on-a-chip models for more accurate drug screening

Professor Róisín Owens, who leads the Bioelectronic Systems Technology group, has been awarded the €150,000 European Research Council grant for a collaborative project with Cambridge-based company CN Bio , a leading Organ-on-a-chip (OOC) company.

Researchers from our Laser Analytics and Molecular Neuroscience groups used advanced super-resolution microscopy methods to visualise the movements of four proteins that are key to the replication cycle of the SARS-CoV-2 virus within host cells.
