Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology

Thinking about studying Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Cambridge?

Join us for our undergraduate Open Days on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 July to explore what the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CEB) has to offer.

You’ll get:

  • Course insights from academics during interactive presentations and Q&A sessions

  • Tours of our facilities, including the Teaching Lab and Makerspace, where you'll see student-made creations using the latest 3D printing and laser-cutting technology

  • First-hand accounts of cutting-edge research in sustainability, energy and healthcare from the researchers driving it

Our student ambassadors and academic staff will be on hand at our Atrium info stall to chat about everything from applications and course content to what life’s really like as a Cambridge undergraduate.

Need a break? Head to our Tearoom (in the Atrium) for refreshments or stop by Lecture Theatre 4 for bite-sized sample lectures showcasing some of the exciting research happening here.

Parents are very welcome too.
